Vitoria on TV

Next April 11th, there will be an extraordinary vote in the Brazilian Supreme Court to decide whether or not the release the abortion in the case of anencephalic babies and babies with severe brain malformations that are considered incompatible with life.

In Brazil abortion is not permitted, but in cases considered incompatible with life there are judges who authorize the anticipation of the birth by an injunction - which usually gives the mother more time to think about this decision.

For this reason there has been much awareness about the issue and some media have contacted us to tell the story of Vitoria, since her survival contradicts the medical predictions.

Moving!

Here we are doing some exercise at home. Even having gone through difficult times in recent months, when we had to stop therapies and the use of orthoses, yet we see some progress of our beloved Vitoria - she has a great desire to move and get crawling!

It is an indescribable joy to help her move!

Sometimes she works so hard, that she ends up tensioning a lot, so we have to stop to rest. We always seek to respect her pace and value each small effort of this brave little warrior.

Stretching on the ball

This is a great way to stretch at home. It is important for Vitoria to stretch her spine to prevent any deformity and the ball is great for this. She loves this exercise in physical therapy, but this day, at home, she was still a little insecure, afraid of falling.

She always gets a little angry and insecure with any new activity, but gradually she ends relaxing and just enjoying it a lot!
