Be relentlessly upbeat

Be relentlessly upbeat
It's good for the body, mind and soul.
It's human and natural living afflictions,
just is not smart to live with them for long.
Be more patient with yourself,
know to understand your limitations.
There is no victory without efforts.

Pablo Neruda, Chilean writer

This is a panel that we found there, I thought it has everything to do with Vitoria!

My big gift

While I have breath I will give praise to the Lord: I will make melody to my God while I have my being. Put not your faith in rulers, or in the son of man, in whom there is no salvation. Man's breath goes out, he is turned back again to dust; in that day all his purposes come to an end.
Happy is the man who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all things in them; who keeps faith for ever: Who gives their rights to those who are crushed down; and gives food to those who are in need of it: the Lord makes the prisoners free; The Lord makes open the eyes of the blind; the Lord is the lifter up of those who are bent down; the Lord is a lover of the upright; Psalm 146:2-8

Hard nights: another tooth growing

Since last Saturday Vitoria is restless and doesn´t sleep well. It seems her sixth tooth is growing! She is having lot of colic, gas, and doesn´t want to eat, just wants to drink milk and juice. She is also having excess saliva, that she tries to control, but sometimes she chokes. Last night she hardly slept and complained a lot. Yesterday we didn't go to physiotherapy, because she had barely slept at night and was very agitated.

When Marcelo arrived home, I was holding her and told him that we hadn't gone out because she wasn't doing well. He got close to her and asked if she wasn't well. She began to cry, Uh-huh, Uh-huh, Uh-huh, as if she was saying, I'm not well today, Daddy, and threw herself at him.
Today I took her to the pediatrician, she examined her mouth and was very impressed because all her gums are swollen. It seems that all teeth are growing close together ... :-( I hope that tonight she will feel better and we can all sleep!
