We created this blog to tell the world about our beloved daughter Vitoria, who with acrania and anencephaly, lived with us for wonderful 9 months of pregnancy and exciting 2 ½ years of life outside the womb. May everyone know about her sweetness and tenderness. About her life, humanity and dignity. All the precious lessons learned with this little angel that God has sent us. It was a joy to have her with us. Vitoria still lives in our hearts and it will always be an honor to be her parents!
“But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God's unfailing love for ever and ever”. Psalm 52:8

Grandma Alice´s visit
Two weeks ago grandma Alice spent some days with us (my mother lives in other state, Rio Grande do Sul, so she can´t visit us very often)
These days were so intensive: she learnt how to give her milk in the bottle
to give her lunch - it´s not always an easy task
"help me, I don´t want to eat this thing!"
But with love and patience
she eats everything!
to get strong and grow up
and after that, take a nap in grandma´s arms
We went out for a stroll in a very beautiful morning
Grandma gave Vitoria a bath (she´s so heavy, with 7 kg / 19 pounds!)
we played
We had very special days
I´m missing grandma...
Thank you for your visit and for taking care of me. I love you so much, grandma!

Joana,
ReplyDeleteI just saw the comment you posted on my blog and wasn't sure how else to respond, so I'm doing it here... Thank you so much for your encouragement. I just sighed a sigh of relief reading your words about the Truth of our God - and how He will carry me through this journey. I have been letting fear take over and I need to trust in God. Thank you for taking the time to write me and for reading my blog. I needed to hear that tonight.
love, Stacy
