The heart is free

Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there the heart is free.

Pouting

I´ve already mentioned how Vitoria has been able to make herself understood using body and facial language, and even her voice to communicate with us. She doesn´t speak English or Portuguese, but with love and sensitivity, I believe many of you can understand her too.

This is one of the bodily expressions that Vitoria uses to tell us that her gums are sore and itchy

This is a pout she learned to do when she does not like something

And this is her angry face to scare people :-)

*in these moments I say she is a lion - now in pink version and with bow on mane

Skateboarding

This is a skateboard, aspecial stand we did for Victoria in AACD, so she can play and move around using her legs while she strengthens arms and spine to crawl.
For us it was a special thrill to see her able to move with this skateboard for children with special needs.

Sunny day in the Park

Two weeks ago Grandma Alice and Grandpa Bruno came to visit us


We did a nice walk in the Burle Marx Park
